Boys and girls tournaments involving four Susquehanna County schools next week have been canceled because of increasing COVID cases among the teams involved.
Blue Ridge, Montrose and Susquehanna were scheduled to play along with host Elk Lake in the Jill Hoffman/Denise Reddon Memorial Tournament for girls and the Susquehanna County Christmas Tournament for boys Dec. 27-28.
Earlier Monday, Susquehanna shut down both its basketball programs until Dec. 26, canceling a boys home game with Canton scheduled for Monday night and postponing two girls road games planned for later in the week.
