Elk Lake and Blue Ridge occupied the top two spots in the Lackawanna League Division 4 standings and they lead the NEPABasketball.com selections for the division all-star team, which were released Tuesday night.
The repeat division champion Warriors were the only team with two first-team and three total selections.
Sophomore Connor Cranage was named Player of the Year and rookie Wes Parks was named Coach of the Year for their roles in lifting a young Blue Ridge team to within a game of the championship.
Elk Lake’s Matt Mowry, Cranage, Mountain View’s Ryan Henke and Lackawanna Trail’s Brycen Decker were all regarded as being among the division’s top six players for the second straight season.
For Mowry, it was the third straight year on that level. He was a first-team choice as a sophomore and division Player of the Year last season.
Wyatt Casselbury joins his Elk Lake teammate, Mowry, on the first team.
Forest City’s Dylan Bezek moves up from the second team to the first team.
Trevor Graham, a first-team choice a year ago, is Elk Lake’s representative on the second team.
Susquehanna’s Spencer Beamer repeats a selection to the second team.
