The Wyoming Valley Conference Tournaments makes it return Thursday through Saturday after not being conducted in 2021 because of the impact COVID had on teams completing their schedules prior to the District 2 playoffs.
Four teams each in boys and girls – the top two in each division – will make up the field.
Boys will play semifinals Thursday at Hazleton Area; girls will play Friday at Pittston Area; and the championship doubleheader will be Saturday night at Wilkes-Barre Area.
First, however, the Division 1 boys title will be decided in a Tuesday playoff.
