Ryan Henke made four 3-pointers while scoring 26 points Wednesday night as Mountain View defeated host Lackawanna Trail, 67-49, in a Lackawanna League Division 4 boys game.
A series of COVID interruptions had made the Eagles the least active team in District 2 in terms of games played prior to Wednesday night. They have quietly, however, pulled themselves into the Division 4 race.
Coming off their third break of a week or more, the Eagles improved to 3-1 in the division and 4-4 overall.
Mountain View’s only division loss came in its opener against Blue Ridge, which is in first place at 5-1. The Eagles also trail Elk Lake and Forest City, which are each 4-1.
Abington Heights 57, Honesdale 32
Matt Show and Ryan Nealon combined for seven 3-pointers as Abington Heights cruised to the road win in a Lackawanna Division 1-2 crossover game.
Show hit four 3-pointers while scoring 13 points. Nealon made three while adding 11.
