Kendall Tigue hit the first of two free throws to give Pittston Area a late, three-point lead Saturday night.
When Tigue missed the second attempt, Amanda Fath was there to grab the rebound and put the finishing touches on the first Lady Patriots victory of the season.
Fath’s putback with 2.5 seconds left secured a 32-27, non-league victory over visiting Wyoming Seminary
The win was the first at Pittston Area (1-3) for new head coach Jeff Gregory.
Kallie Booth led the Lady Patriots offense with 11 points.
Wyoming Seminary’s Maddie Olshemski also scored 11 points.

Holy Cross 59, Western Wayne 42
Kaci Kranson scored 21 points to lead visiting Holy Cross to the win in the non-league game between teams ranked among District 2’s top Small Schools in the My City Mortgage Super Six Power Rankings.
Holy Cross is ranked second. Western Wayne is fourth.
Kranson had plenty of support.
Abbey Lentowski added 17 points and Emily Ferguson had 15.
Western Wayne was led by Kaeli Romanowski with 20 points.
Northwest 51, Montgomery 15
Charleigh Miner drained six 3-pointers while scoring 28 points and visiting Northwest held Montgomery to three second-half points in the Mid-Penn League victory.
The Lady Rangers led 24-12 at halftime before Kennedy Yaple scored all nine of her points in the third quarter.
Tunkhannock 54, Valley View 42
Tunkhannock won the non-league game at home.
Hailey Long led Tunkhannock with 15 points. Alaina Ritz added 12 and Sable Stephens had 11.
The Lady Tigers opened a 24-14 halftime lead and remained in control from there.
Skylar Bianchi led the Cougars with 17 points.
