GIRLS ROUNDUP: Crestwood, Northwest roll

The Crestwood girls basketball team provided the first sign that things might be different for the Lady Comets in the 2021 season.

Crestwood led 12-6 after one quarter, then opened up a 26-11 halftime lead when Jaden Weiss scored all 10 of her points in the second quarter.

Even when Wyoming Seminary hit three 3-pointers in the third quarter, Crestwood kept adding to its lead, going to the fourth in front 43-22.

Brianna Wickiser finished with 11 points for the Lady Comets.

Cassidy Skoronski led Wyoming Seminary with 10 points.
