Denise Larson will have an experienced lineup with which to work in her first season as Mid Valley girls head coach.
The Spartanettes return all but one starter as they try to find the formula to improve on a 2019-20 season in which they won just one Lackawanna League Division 3 game and finished 3-20 overall.
Larson served as an assistant last season under Vince Bucciarelli, one of the winningest coaches in Lackawanna League history.
Although returning players from the varsity lineup, the Spartanettes remain young.
Junior guard/forward Kaylee Terranella was the leading scorer last season.
Juniors Katie Glinsky, Avery Rebar and Abby Merrifield are also back along with sophomores Grace Goetz and Courtney Rebar. All started at times.
